A classic heirloom apple from the early 1800's, originating near Claygate in County Surrey, England by John Braddick. Iit became very popular with its rich aromatic flavor, soft juicy flesh and green changing to yellow with a pink blush skin.Heavy producig trees ripen their crop late. Hardy zones 4-9.
