One of the hardiest of all Prickly Pear cactus it can take cold down to 0F and also withstands extreme heat of summer. Low growing spineless plant has thick pads and bright yellow nectarous flowers followed by showy red edible fruits. Native to southern Texas and northern Mexico it is hardy down to zone 7.
