Enormous 4" diameter juicy fruit has a rich delicious sweet flavor. Discovered at W.W.Sparks farm in Ventura, CA in 1881, it became very popular commercially and in the canning industry. Said to be an offspring of Blenheim, which has similar high quality flesh.
