Bright red fruit is covered with a bluish bloom. Has firm, juicy good quality flavorful yellow flesh. Vigorous and productive tree was developed by N. E. Hanson in Brookings South Dakota and released in 1923. A super hardy cross of American and Japanese plum, hardy zones 3-8.
