Beautiful yellow-green fruit has a soft pink blush and has very sweet fruity flesh with few seeds. Found growing at the Plantation fo Eugenio Herrera in Til Til, Chile on poor rocky soil with no irrigation. Showy yellow flowers and low thorn pads. We obtaned this selection from the National Arid Land Plant Genetic Resource Unit (NALPGRU) in Parlier, CA. Special thanks to Gabriela Romano who shared much information from evaluations done there to determine the best of the many varieties held their. This Opuntia ficus-indica variety is hardy zones 8-11.
