A type of Desert King fig that came from the gardens of the late Sam and Marjory Hoops at 3,000' in the mountains above Orleans, CA. While very similar to regular Desert King its leaves and fruit have enough differences to list as a separate variety. A San Pedro type fig it produces a heavy early breba crop in mid summer of delicious green skinned and pink fleshed sweet fruit.
