Snow apple is a classic heirloom originating in Quebec in the early 1700's. Also known as Famuese or Quebec Snow, it is an excellent delicious and flavorful apple. Its skin is bright red over a green background and the flesh is snow white. Considered to be a parent of MacIntosh, which it shows similarity to. Small hardy is tree blooms late to avoid frost and is hardy zones 4-8.
